How to stop shipping container condensation
Shipping Container condensation is the phenomenon in which water vapor condenses inside the container due to temperature changes.
Common causes include temperature fluctuations, excessive humidity, air spaces, poor ventilation, and cargo humidity.
To prevent condensation, a variety of measures can be taken: installing a dehumidifier to effectively remove moisture from the air, but requires power; air conditioning is suitable for cargo that requires a low-temperature environment; louvered vents increase air circulation; moisture traps collect excess moisture; use insulation and linings to control temperature; top texture coating absorbs moisture; desiccant calcium chloride absorbs moisture; choose plastic or treated wooden pallets; and other methods such as cat litter to absorb moisture and regularly check the container for damage. Choosing the right solution for different causes can effectively control humidity and condensation in the container.
