COMPACT – now even smaller!

CIDAN Machinery has redesigned the popular CTL machine COMPACT and made it even more compact. This is the perfect machine for a sheet metal shop. The machine is easy to use, cuts smaller pieces even faster than before and does not require much floor space. The advantages of using coils in the workshop are obvious. Cost for material is much lower than purchasing material in blanks. Reduction of scrap is significant. Flexibility increases since the user easily can make different sheet sizes.

New features and changes of COMPACT

• Possible to slit narrower strips/more strips.

• Infeed guide with more rolls.

• The new protection for the shear makes it possible to operate close to the machine at the back and makes the machine footprint smaller.

• Shear table now with multiple rolls.

• 25% higher maximum feeding speed.

• Rubber coating on the two upper rolls for reduced dwell marks (option).

• Control system on a rotating arm.

• Motors and electrical cabinet moved into the machine for even smaller outer dimensions.

• Higher quality bearings for guide ways and pulldown rods.

• Function to find position for easier adjusting of slitting knives.

• Changed speed and changed slowdown threshold values for faster feeding of especially short pieces.

• Possible to store settings of straightening rolls for different coils in the LineLink control.
