CODIXX successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

The German polarizer manufacturer CODIXX AG from Barleben has received the quality management certification according to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. The company places an emphasis on quality and has been using the Quality Management System (QMS) from TÜV-Nord since 2003. This year the audit was carried out for the first time according to the modified quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

“CODIXX pursues the goal of permanently developing, producing and marketing products that meet the quality requirements and expectations of their customers. Our quality management system is used as a central means to achieve these goals, which ensures a permanent improvement of the company´s performance in terms of process and product quality”, explains CODIXX´s quality management representative Jens Staender and continues: “The core of the system according to ISO 9001:2015 is a monitoring of the internal processes based on key figures, supplemented by an integrated risk management."

With the new standard, quality management places greater emphasis on the process-oriented approach and the demand for comprehensive and systematic process management. This makes the daily work for employees easier, reduces risks and increases the overall effectiveness of the company.

The DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 provides a basis for companies to continuously improve in order to meet the required quality levels of products and services. For the certification of the individual processes, the documentation, the involvement of the employees as well as the company management are examined. Continuous quality assurance and improvement of quality management are ensured by the regular repetition and monitoring audits.
