ComNav Brings Innovation and Excellence to Surveying at Universités FGF

Universités FGF

Kigali, Rwanda, November 27-29, 2024 — The 9th Universités FGF was held at the Lemigo Hotel, gathering top experts and scholars from the global surveying industry. As a Gold Partner (Partenaire OR) of FGF, ComNav Technology Ltd. (ComNav) was proud to participate in this prestigious event. It provided ComNav with an excellent opportunity to showcase its innovative products and solutions, while building valuable connections with professionals from around the world.

At the event, ComNav showcased its impressive Universe Series RTK, including the Mars Pro and Venus—two advanced laser RTKs designed for high-precision tasks in complex surveying scenarios. By combining laser and IMU technologies, these devices tackle challenges in hard-to-reach, signal-obstructed, and hazardous environments, enabling users to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and with unmatched precision. Integrated with the latest K8 platform, these devices enhance performance by tracking channels for all current and planned constellations. ComNav believes that innovation is key to driving new growth in the industry. Additionally, the N-series receivers, known for their durability and long-standing reliability, also generated lots of inquiries at the event.

In addition to these high-performance RTK devices, ComNav introduced its CORS solution with the M300 Pro GNSS receiver. Since its launch, ComNav's CORS solution has been widely adopted, with over 6,000 CORS stations established worldwide. The CORS network consists of multiple base stations that cover extensive geographic areas, providing reliable corrected observation data. Its scalability makes it suitable for larger areas or multiple users, offering an efficient solution for a variety of applications.

ComNav also showcased its P6H GNSS Tablet GIS Solution, which has been featured at numerous global exhibitions. Notable for its lightweight yet durable design, the P6H delivers exceptional accuracy, with centimeter-level (RTK) or decimeter-level (PPP) precision. Equipped with a 6” Sunlight-Readable Screen and compatibility with common GIS software, the P6H is engineered for efficiency, offering users an enhanced operational experience in the GIS field.

ComNav’s USV solution, the SV600 unmanned surface vessel, also captured significant attention. Specifically engineered for hydrographic surveys, the SV600 offers remote control capabilities and seamlessly integrates adaptive water flow, straight-line, and hovering technologies, enhancing efficiency. With its versatile design, the SV600 enables a wide range of surveying applications.

Besides, the LS300 3D laser scanner, based on SLAM technology, enables real-time positioning and mapping in both indoor and outdoor environments. It does not rely on GNSS positioning and performs incremental 3D mapping with ease. Its lightweight design simplifies data collection, and the device can capture data while walking around. ComNav is committed to providing user-centered 3D mobile scanning solutions that enhance the work experience. The positive feedback from professionals at the event further underscores the LS300’s strong potential to boost productivity in the field.

Moreover, ComNav actively participated in roundtable discussions and workshops on key topics such as land management, urban development, and modern surveying technologies, playing a collaborative role in shaping the future direction of the industry. ComNav Technology believes that through innovative surveying technologies and solutions, it can inject new vitality into the global surveying industry and looks forward to collaborating with industry professionals and partners to drive progress in the field.
