ComNav Paves the Path for Future Surveying with Advanced Technologies at FIG 2024

FIG 2024

Kathmandu, Nepal, November 14-16, 2024 — ComNav Technology Ltd. (ComNav) participated in the 2024 FIG Regional Conference, a major event that brought together institutions, academics, and professionals from various organizations and countries around the world. ComNav joined the conference to discuss building knowledge and capacity in Asia for climate change, disaster resilience, and land rights protection, while exploring industry trends and innovations.

At the exhibition, ComNav’s high-precision GNSS receivers attracted significant attention, particularly the innovative Mars Laser RTK. This device combines GNSS receiver and laser technology, unlocking new possibilities for surveying. During the event, the Mars Laser RTK showcased its outstanding performance in complex terrain, signal-obstructed areas, and hazardous environments. Thanks to its integration of advanced GNSS, IMU, and laser technologies, the Mars Laser RTK provides high-precision positioning while ensuring operator safety, significantly boosting productivity and standing out as one of the exhibition's highlights.

ComNav also showcased its N series GNSS receivers, including the N2 and N3 models. Renowned for their stability and high precision, these receivers garnered attention and received positive feedback from attendees, offering reliable solutions for a variety of application scenarios.

Additionally, ComNav introduced the P8H tablet, which integrates a high-precision GNSS module and antenna and greatly enhances the portability of GIS, surveying, and mapping tasks. This professional GNSS tablet supports full constellation tracking and multi-frequency signals, enabling centimeter-level positioning accuracy in RTK mode without the need for external equipment. The device boasts an 8-inch high-brightness display, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Designed with a focus on improving user experience, P8H offers a cost-effective and highly efficient surveying solution.

Also introduced was the P6H handheld tablet, specifically designed for GIS data collection and outdoor operations. Combining the convenience of a handheld device with advanced GNSS technology, it helps GIS professionals efficiently and accurately collect and analyze geographic data. The launch of the P6H is expected to spark a technological revolution in the GIS industry.

In the CORS solutions sector, ComNav has introduced the M300 Pro GNSS reference station, a high-performance GNSS receiver that is not only powerful, but also easy to configure and manage, making it especially suitable for CORS applications. Over the years, ComNav has been deeply involved in the CORS field, and its CORS solution has gained widespread global adoption, with over 6,000 CORS stations established worldwide. This highlights ComNav's outstanding technology and reliability in global CORS applications, enabling it to meet ever-evolving demands.

Another popular exhibit was the LS300 3D Laser Scanner, designed to meet high-precision 3D mapping requirements for various environments. It uses SLAM technology for real-time positioning and 3D mapping, operating without GNSS to autonomously map and position in both indoor and outdoor unknown environments. Due to its exceptional accuracy and reliability, the LS300 3D Laser Scanner significantly enhances user efficiency.

At the event, ComNav was proudly presented with a certificate in recognition of its valuable contribution as a bronze sponsor of the 2024 FIG Regional Conference. This certificate symbolizes ComNav’s ongoing commitment to advancing industry development and innovation. Looking ahead, ComNav plans to continue bringing innovative products to the market. Through this conference, ComNav looks forward to partnering with global stakeholders to deliver even more exceptional products and services, and to collectively embrace the challenges of the future.

We look forward to meeting you at the upcoming Universités FGF exhibition, which will take place from the 27th to the 29th in Rwanda!
