In order to tackle the problems of high cutting resistance, delamination, fiber pull-out and matrix breakage in the field of aerospace composite materials drilling, Conprofe integrates ultrasonic technology with traditional pneumatic drill to develop a new product - Handheld Ultrasonic Pneumatic Drill. It converts high-frequency electric energy into mechanical vibrations, which makes the rotating drill bit vibrate at 15k to 30kHz and separates the drill bit and the workpiece periodically, enhancing chip emission and workpiece surface integrity, and thus greatly improving the machining efficiency as well as the surface quality of the workpiece, and extending the tool life.
