Cosmic brings its latest high-power semiconductor testing platforms to PCIM Europe 2026

For the first time as Cosmic, the company will exhibit at PCIM Europe 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany, from 9 to 11 June.

Altopascio, Italy - June 4th, 2026 – Cosmic, an industry leader in semiconductor testing solutions, is making its global debut at PCIM Expo. The company will showcase its latest innovations at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from June 9–11, 2026 at stand 4-410.
In March 2026, Cosmic emerged as the new corporate identity converging the industrial companies acquired by Microtest since 2022. This integration brings together over 400 professionals and 15 direct locations across Europe, the USA, and Asia into a single global brand. To equip the semiconductor test industry with an extensive portfolio of high-performance test solutions, Cosmic operates via two distinct and complementary divisions: Cosmic Equipment and Cosmic Services.
The Cosmic Equipment division represents the technological core of the Group and focuses on developing high-performance platforms for automotive, industrial, power and high-reliability markets.
At the 2026 edition of this international trade show dedicated to semiconductors and energy infrastructure, Cosmic will feature four flagship innovations covering the entire testing lifecycle from Laboratory (R&D, characterization, validation and engineering analysis), through Wafer Test (prior to packaging) and KGD (Known Good Die) to Final Test for packaged devices and modules.
Quasar200 and Pulsar600, Cosmic’s advanced-Power Characterization Testers make it quick and easy to measure WBG (Wide Band Gap) power device performance. Quasar200 provides a flexible solution for Silicon, GaN and low-power SiC testing, while Pulsar600 offers industry-leading characterization solutions for ultra-high current applications specifically SiC, invertor and automotive applications.
VIP Ultra, the next-gen, configurable ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platform for highly parallel testing of modern WBG power devices including Si, SiC and GaN. Fully equipped to test high side and low side Driver ICs, IGBTs, Power MOSFETs, Power ICs, ensuring flexibility and future-proof test capability.
M2 Turret Edition and M2 Flexible Edition, ideal for testing power devices on any rotary, conveyor or pick and place handler at every stage of production, from bare KGD to packaged discretes and modules. Designed to maximize units per hour (UPH) in high-volume production environments, M2 ensures precision, repeatability, and reliability without compromising test accuracy.
DS6 Pulsar, an advanced dynamic test generator, is purpose-built for automotive SiC and GaN power devices in the electric vehicle and automotive industries. As a market leader in switching speed, it ensures reliability and guarantees full compliance with AEC-Q101 and AQG 324 quality standards, making it ideal for mission-critical validation in demanding environments.
“The creation of Cosmic represents a fundamental strategic step in our journey to consolidate our position as a leading international player in the semiconductor test industry,” stated Ruud van der Linden, CEO of Cosmic Group. “The integration of technological, industrial, and operational expertise on a global scale now enables us to offer our customers a unique value proposition that combines innovation, efficiency, and added value. With Cosmic, we are establishing a strong global corporate identity that brings our Equipment and Services divisions under one organization while preserving their distinct focus, leadership, and strategic direction”
Discover the Group’s cutting-edge test technology at stand 4-410. The team of experts will demonstrate solutions for high-power applications and the rest of the Cosmic’s portfolio, including mixed-signal ATE, burn-in systems, handlers, and semiconductor testing services.
