Tie Rod Cylinders

Cross Manufacturing’s first product was a tie rod cylinder. Cross now has over 65 years of experience manufacturing various high quality tie rod cylinders. The tie rod line includes bore sizes from 2” to 5” in diameter with varied stroke lengths.

The cylinders have a rated working pressure up to 3000 psi. Porting on our standards is available with NPT or SAE threads. A variety of standard and customized mountings are available.

These cylinders are used in many applications including agriculture, mobile, material handling, logging, utility, construction, mining and forestry. Cross has many different options available upon request. Let Cross fill your hydraulic needs.

Cross manufactures a variety of directional control valves ideal for operating front end loaders, in open center and conventional closed center hydraulic systems. Our offerings cover systems with flow rates of 3 GPM to 30 GPM, and with operating pressures up to 3000 PSI. All have exceptional metering characteristics, load checks and low internal leakage ratings. The open center models all come standard with a differential cartridge style relief.

Selector Valve Options

Cross manufactures both single and double selector valves. The VS2 series is single selector rated up to 20GPM. The VS2 with NPTF ports is pressure rated up to 2500 psi and with SAE porting it is rated up to 3000psi.

The VS4 series single selector is rated up to 40gpm, 2500 psi with NPTF porting, 4000 psi with SAE #12 Porting and 3000 psi with SAE #16 porting.
