8th January, the 160km/h Dynamic Concentrated “CR” EMU, assembled the traction electric drive system which is provided by CRRC Yongji Electric Co.,Ltd., was officially put into operation on Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway. In the future, it will take about 2hs from Lanzhou to Longnan, and that will be less than 7hs from Lanzhou to Chongqing.

The model of the 160km/h dynamic concentrated “CR” EMU is CR200J, and its nickname is “Hulk”, a new member of CR Family. The CR200J is painted with Chinese scholar tree Green. An optimum design is carried out with the CR200J on the basis of Dynamic distributed EMU. The outline of CR200J uses streamlined shape, and the inner service facility is same as the existing EMU, is applicable to all general speed electric railways.

The “dynamic” of the dynamic concentrated EMU refers to the traction electric drive system, which is like the “heart” of EMU, is the source of the power for EMU.
