Mainstream EtCO2 Sensor for Capnography ETCO2 Monitoring

In medical clinical monitoring, end-tidal carbon dioxide (referred to as EtCO2) is a critical physiological parameter, which can simultaneously reflect the patient's pulmonary ventilation function and the patient's blood circulation function, and pulmonary blood flow.

Detection of CO2 in an exhaled breath by monitoring end-tidal CO2 (etCO2) via capnography has long been clinically invaluable in providing immediate information during mechanical ventilation. The CO2 measurement in capnography is performed using a mainstream CO2 sensor at the patient’s airway opening.

Cubic medical mainstream EtCO2 sensor module CM2201 is designed with advanced dual beam non-dispersive infrared technology for fast response and high accuracy and is widely used in monitoring the respiratory end-tidal CO2 concentration and respiration rate. It can be easily integrated into monitors or anesthesia machines with an 8-pin socket and the preparation of the corresponding display/control software.
