In 2020, a customer purchased one of our sensors based on Swiss technology and made in China for online monitoring of residual chlorine in drinking water for agriculture. This sensor has the characteristics of on-site use without calibration, maintenance-free, high measurement accuracy, and long service life, and the customer is very satisfied. After 3 years of continuous operation at the site, it was recently returned to the factory for routine testing.

After our after-sales personnel unpacked it, they found that this sensor was actually purchased and put into use by the customer in October 2020. Subsequently, a comprehensive inspection of the sensor's performance was carried out seriously. After testing with the existing sensor in the same waterway, it was found that the membrane cap of the sensor could still work normally, and the measurement data was still accurate and effective. The after-sales personnel simply cleaned and maintained it and returned it to the customer.

It is well known that our official recommended replacement cycle for the sensor membrane cap is 12 months, but according to the communication and understanding between the editor and the after-sales department, few customers need to replace the membrane cap every year. Some customers reported that the sensor has been used for more than 3 consecutive years and still works stably on the front line.

DAW2407 digital residual chlorine sensor

The DAW2407 sensor is an upgraded version of this sensor, which can accurately measure the residual chlorine / chlorine dioxide value in the water.
