Enhancing DC Charging Station Safety with Danisense Technology

A research project at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) is advancing the safety and periodic verification of DC electric vehicle charging stations. As part of the ProSafE² initiative, experts have developed a test procedure to ensure charging station reliability over their entire lifespan, contributing to updates in the OVE guideline R 30.

To support this effort, TU Graz integrated the Danisense DS600ID current transducer into its mobile charging station testing demonstrator. This high-precision sensor ensures accurate current measurement, minimizing errors and improving energy efficiency in charger analysis.
