Application Scenario

To improve its warehousing efficiency, Jinmailang recently introduced WMS(Warehouse Management System), and installed Darveen VT-758 industrial vehicle mount computers and Bluetooth long-distance scanner (capable of scanning barcodes within 5 meters) on its warehouse forklifts.Through wireless network, WMS system can send instructions that direct a forklift driver to the designated location to carry the goods to another place(target location). Once the driver receives the instructions through the vehicle mount computer, the computer will prompt the driver the route for goods collection; while the driver reaches the designated location, he can use a long-distance scanning gun to acquire the goods information, and send it back to the WMS system at the first time through the vehicle mount computer; when the driver carries the goods to the target location, he can also scan the barcode of the area in the warehouse, to ensure the area for goods storage is correct.By deploying both WMS system and intelligent forklift solution, Jinmailang has greatly improved its goods handling efficiency and warehouse stock accuracy, thus maximizing the efficiency of an “intelligent warehouse”
