Darveen won SSA Marine on-board computer order in Vietnam and once again contributed to the global port !

Darveen and SSIT Reached a "Cooperation and Win-win" Model

Affiliated to SSA Marine and founded in 2006, SP-SSA International Terminal (SSIT) is located by Thi Vai River in the Ba Ria Vung Tau Province. It is a joint venture terminal operated by Saigon Port of Vietnam with Vinalines and SSA Marine. SSIT possesses the most advanced Box Handling equipment and largest STS gantry cranes in Vietnam. The terminal can handle a variety of commodity categories, including heavy cargo, steel, fertilizer and agricultural products, such as grain, soybeans and corn. Operating both day and night, the modern deepwater wharf provides most efficient pathway at the south of Vietnam for shipping companies and their customers. To speed up the terminal operation and further improve the work efficiency, SSIT has purchased from Darveen Technology a number of industrial vehicle mount computer VT-858, which will be used on container truck and rubber-tyred container gantry crane.

With Darveen vehicle mount computer VT-858 installed onto their container trucks, SSIT drivers can get the task locations and goals via the computers, and quickly reach the designated places, to load or unload the specified containers. In this way, manual operation errors can be reduced and tracked, and work efficiency can be improved. Similarly, with the computers installed onto the RTGs, the operators can notify TOS to send information to the vehicle mount computer VT-858. By the displayed information on the computer, the driver can reach the designated location accurately, pick up the specified containers and transfer them to the corresponding locations. In this way, the work can be carried out in clear and quick manner, where reconfirmation is not required, therefore, much extra work is reduced and overall efficiency improved.
