PSA uses DARVEEN VLD for high operating efficiency of container truck
Application Scenario
VLD-100 is installed on the front windshield of the cab of the container truck in the port operated by Singapore PSA. It is powered by the truck, and connected to Vehicle mount computer (hereinafter referred to as PMPC) through the RS-232 COM port. The corresponding information (such as twist lock type, container size and destination etc.) will be displayed in the port according to the signal transmitted by PMPC, and stored in the computer to facilitate tracking. External staff can make the feedback based on the comparison between the information showed on VLD-100 and the current task of the truck, and promptly change the operation, thus improving the efficiency. The product is intuitive, flexile, traceable, convenient and efficient. Moreover, potential risks arising from improper entry of trucks can be avoided.
