Darveen Industrial Tablet PC Is Used In The Railway Industry For Contact Network Switch Monitoring

Railway is an important infrastructure for social and economic development. With rapid development of Chinese economy, there is an increasing demand for railway speed. The overhead line isolating switch is an important equipment for power supply of electric railway. Its main functions include fault isolation, separate operation and changing operation mode. The screen control terminal RTU carries out centralized monitoring of hub stations and isolating transformers, real time acquisition of operating status of the isolating transformers, real time data communication with power supply SCADA dispatching center, submission of onsite equipment operating data to the dispatching center, and execution of commands issued by the dispatching center, such as control command, parameter command, tuning command, etc.

At hub stations, there are numerous widely spread overhead line isolating switches, so manual transmission operation method would be very inefficient, which restricts the upgrade of automation level of the overhead line. To realize centralized remote monitoring of these switches, Darveen DPC-3120 industrial panel PC is selected, and a COM port is used to connect I/O board for display of switch status. The PC integrates the video monitoring system for isolating switches, solves the problems of remote monitoring and video monitoring, and enables remote viewing function for all isolating switches in the overhead line. In this way, the safety level and efficiency of the system can be generally improved.
