Broken tablet detection- As a vision based system, the ICU provides the best broken tablet detection available, as a part of the standard product. The machine can detect broken pieces as small as 0.5 mm. In addition, once the rejected tablet is detected, the filling will be halted and the bottle will be sent immediately to the reject station, saving time and product.

Easy Operation – The ICU is a Color touch panel PC based system, all machine functions both internal and external are controlled through a single HMI in an unseen standard.

Automatic Calibration –The ICU can automatically calibrate new products, the products are placed on a specially design calibration tool, the tablets on the too are being scanned throw the camera and all the tablet data is set automatically, Set up for new products is very simple and using cameras instead of photocells that need to adjusted often saves a lot of time and avoids costly miscounts and overcounts.

Tool free – All contact parts are tool free release, in complete GMP design. The minimal quantity of contact parts, along with very light & small parts, allows changeover in not more than 5 min and OEE machine optimization.

No blind spots- the ICU Design enables operator constant monitoring of the tablet from the hopper to the bottle. There are no blind spots throughout the entire course of a single tablet.
