Plate and Frame Filter Press Operating Instruction

In order to improve the plate and frame filter press’s working efficiency and prolong it’s service time, the user should operate it strictly per below operating instruction:

Check before starting up :

1.Check the filter plate: make sure there is no shortage and no incline.

2.Check the filter cloth: make sure the cloth is smooth, no mud on the cover side, no block at the center feeding hole.

Machine operation:

1.Turn on all power .

2.Press the close button, start the oil pump motor of the hydraulic station, open the solenoid valve, the piston rod of the oil cylinder extents, pressing plate move forward, now start to press step. After the pressure of the press plate is tightened and the pressure gauge on the oil cylinder reaches to 18MPa, the oil pump motor and electromagnetic valve stop and begin the pressure maintaince situation.

3.Press the close button, start the oil pump motor of the hydraulic station, open the solenoid valve, the piston rod of the oil cylinder extents, pressing plate move forward, now start to press step. After the pressure of the press plate is tightened and the pressure gauge on the oil cylinder reaches to 18MPa, the oil pump motor and electromagnetic valve stop and begin the pressure maintaince situation.

4.Close the feeding pump, close the feeding pipe valve; press the back button, start the oil pump motor, electromagnetic valve is opened, oil cylinder piston rod retracted, the press plate begin move toward; The press plate stop to move when it reach to limit switch position; begin discharge the cake; please keep filter plate clean, no mud on the cover side, no blocked on feeding hole.

5.Begin next filtration cycle after cake discharge finished.

Matters need attention:

If the frame and plate filter press under pressure maintaince situation and no worker beside it, the power must be turned off.
