Bottle storage solutions

Intelligent tumble pack solutions can reduce the workload heavily for environments where there is not a lot of transport involved. Averagely, you can store 30% less products per cubic meter, but in these environments it will not be in relation to the workload / packaging material / investment needed.

They are often used for:

- In house productions, blow & filling bottles in the same building

- Nearby sites, blow bottles and the customer is nearby

- Internal storage solution for offline labelling, instead of online labelling. Higher line efficiency can be achieved by disconnecting the labelling machine from the bottle production machines. It will avoid stoppages of the blow molder due to the label rolls being empty and avoid bubble forming in EBM due to the cooling of the bottles.

Optionally RFID tracking will allow a smoother and shorter logistics cycle.

■ DFS150 Flexible silo to store products in a tumble packed way. This unit has a full pallet height and a storage capacity of 2.5 m³.

Along with the silos we have also developed a range of machines for loading (at the blow moulding side) as for unloading (at the filling side).

On the blow moulding side:

■ DSB250 Silo filling system to fill 2 silos alternating.

■ DSB300 Silo filling system to fill 2 silos alternating. This unit can also be used to unload bottles from pockets.

■ DSS010 Loading station for flexible silo with cooling option to avoid bottle deformation.

On the filling side:

■ DSS050 Unloading station for flexible silo (only suitable for silos with base outlet).

■ DBP10X Bottle unscrambler which uses vision for bottle recognition and a robot for grabbing and positioning of the bottles.
