JOB’s AMFE (Automatic Miniature Fire Extinguisher) protects well-defined areas in industry, household and consumer electronics such as cabinets, home appliances, televisions, etc. against fire. The AMFE detects and extinguished the fire inside the device and thus prevent the spread of the fire.Due to rising heat in a fire scenario the internal pressure inside the glass bulb increases. After the predetermined operating temperature of the heat sensitive glass bulb is reached, the glass bulb breaks into small fragments and operates a mechanism that opens the closing of the cylinder.
The extinguishing medium releases through the holes of the housing and extinguishes the fire when the fire is still in an early stage. The quick operation and the effective extinguishing of the fire prevents further propagation of the fire and keeps the damage small.
