Basic function and measurement method: DF-PSM Ultrasonic Particle Size Monitor can measure particle size and size distribution of pulps in an inline and real-time mode as well as pulp concentration by making use of multi-frequency ultrasonic attenuation method.

Particle size measurement: 1mm, maximum, P80 is particle size distribution between 295 to 25 micron;

Concentration measurement: 4~ 60% (by pulp weight)

DF-PSM is suitable for measuring pulps with the following characteristics: Corrosive pulp: pH value up to 12.5; sampling flow: 32 to 75 l/min (2.0 to 4.5 m3/h); pulp temperature: 0 to 50°C, pulp concentration: 4 to 60 %(by weight); dry ore concentration: 2.0 to 5.5 g/cm3; maximum particle size: the particle size of 1 percent of oversize is not more than 2.3mm at dry ore density of 2.7g/cm3 and not more than 1.2mm at dry ore density of 5.1 g/cm3.
