Portable X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer | DF-5702

DF-5702 Portable X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer is a kind of portable element analyzing instrument. Based on the Moseley''s Law, it adopts the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzing technology to analyze the type and content of an element qualitatively and quantitatively by analyzing the energy spectrum of the X-ray generated by the element in a sample as result of being excited by a X-ray tube.

DF-5702 Portable X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer, being characterized by small volume, light weight, measuring by holding with hands and quick non-destructive inspection, is mainly applied in the fields of mine, metallurgy, etc. to measure the contents of elements in mineral powders.

II. Working principles

DF-5702 Portable X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer is based on the Moseley''s Law, adopts the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzing technology, uses micro X-ray tube as the radioactive source to irradiate the elements in a sample for them to emit characteristic X-rays of different energies and intensities, uses a high-resolution silicon drift detector (SDD) in semiconductor to receive such X-rays and convert its energy into electric signals. The electric signals are subject to amplification by an electronic signal processing component and ADC conversion to produce a complicated X-ray energy spectrum. Advanced analyzing software is used to analyze the types and contents of elements in the sample and make them displayed on a PDA screen.
