Dimetix Laser Application - The new protective cover for Chernobyl

https://dimetix.com/en

After the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986, a radioactive fallout over Europe came down. In order to prevent this from happening, the nuclear power plant was encased in a protective concrete shell. Thirty years later, however, this protective cover threatens to disintegrate. In the race against time, an international team wants to prevent the re-emergence of radioactive radiation by constructing a sarcophagus above the ruin. Dimetix laser distance sensors were used in the construction of the new protective cover for Chernobyl. The N24 documentation provides a look behind the scenes of the mammoth project.
