Volumetric metering valve sets new standards for dispensing micro-volumes

Contactless material dispensing, high speed and maximum service life for demanding lubricant applications

The new volumetric shot valve allows extremely precise and rapid dispensing of even the smallest quantities of grease or oil. It is capable of up to 30 doses per second, with a dispensing accuracy of better than ± 2%. The metering range is between 0.001 and 0.048 ml. The valve operates contactless, and both dot and bead application are possible. This makes it ideal for all industrial applications where precise and reproducible results are required.

50 million identical, leak-free doses

The new valve has been specifically designed to operate at a low working pressure of less than 13 bar, which drastically reduces mechanical wear. The result is an outstanding service life of up to 50 million identical, leak-free dosing cycles. Comparable pressure-time-controlled valves have a service life that is 30 per cent shorter, as they usually operate in pressure ranges exceeding 20 bar.

At the same time, the gentle working pressure minimises the separation of base oil and thickener within the lubricant, which often leads to errors when applying very small quantities. Thanks to its low-maintenance design, wear parts can also be replaced quickly and easily without having to replace the entire system.

High process reliability

The volumetric metering principle ensures that the shot valve operates largely independently of external factors such as fluctuations in temperature, pressure or viscosity. As a result, additional system components such as a second material pressure regulator or a heating system are often not required. This not only reduces the complexity of the system, but also minimises maintenance requirements and error susceptibility.

The volumetric shot valve is available in two sizes:
- 0.001 - 0.02 ml
- 0.005 - 0.048 ml
