CDV Pressure

The CDV Pressure is a leak tester for packaging and simulator for atmospheric pressure difference

The CDV Pressure merges a vacuum chamber and hyperbaric tank. This instrument is capable of performing altitude simulation, a necessary test for ensuring the quality of products when subjected to airfreight or high altitude transport.

It will create an over pressure to simulate the effects of increased atmospheric pressure. That is caused by the change in altitude from a high location to a lower elevation. Additionally you can perform leakage tests that will help you meet the requirements and standards of the pharmaceutical food and cosmetic industries in an effective convenient and reliable manner.

Historically cities were established near rivers or in close proximity of sea level.

However there are cities with significant industrial activity which are more than 2 000 meters above sea level with distribution chains to locations within a lower altitude.

In these cases any semi-rigid packaging for example plastic bottles can suffer deformation by descending even one thousand meters with respect to the manufacturing area because the atmospheric pressure increases by approximately 100 mbar every 1000 meters with the CDV pressure it is possible to simulate these effects in a repeatable manner.
