CHAMBER FOR UNE EN-391, GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER - DELAMINATION TEST OF GLUE LINES
UNE EN-391, GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER
The test is carried out to create internal stresses perpendicular to the adhesive lines, in the wood by means of a humidity gradient, so that defective glues suffer delamination in these lines. This test shall be carried out in a drying chamber with air speed control and with characteristics that allow the climatic conditions established in each of the three types of test methods: A, B or C, to be achieved.
The CCK-0/720T-2P chamber has been designed to meet the most demanding drying test conditions of this standard, method B, where the temperature shall be established between 65 and 75 ºC, with relative air humidity conditions of 8 to 10% hr.
