CL-294, AGING TESTS ON BUILDING MATERIALS.
SOLAR SIMULATION CHAMBER
Solar radiation is one of the main degradation factors for different materials exposed to sunlight. An accelerated ageing test using solar simulation will allow the durability of construction materials or raw materials, etc. to be assessed. This type of accelerated tests can control the energy radiated on a surface, as well as the temperature, allowing to simulate the climatic conditions that will degrade the materials outdoors and to verify that there is no non-conformity in the product.
Our CL-294 chamber has been designed to be able to carry out solar simulation tests under controlled temperature environments. Its interior dimensions of 600 x 700 x 700 mm have been studied to have a certain area of irradiation on a reinforced tray. In addition, its reflective interior improves the interior irradiation conditions. The solar simulation system consists of a powerful lamp positioned above the test chamber at a certain height to guarantee irradiation. The temperature is controlled by an advanced microprocessor to guarantee specific environmental conditions
