Thermal control is key to ensuring measurement accuracy
Load cells are sensors designed to measure force or weight and are fundamental in applications such as industrial scales, onboard weighing systems, process control, and lifting platforms. Their accuracy is critical, as any thermal variation can affect the signal and, therefore, the measurement. Through controlled temperature testing and thermal cycling, it is possible to verify their stability, repeatability, and reliability, ensuring precise operation in real-world working environments.
Our external thermal conditioning system, DYCOMETAL CETMg-30/100T, is not a conventional chamber; it is a system that allows connection to different volumes (test zones) to condition different sample sizes, from the smallest used in small scales to large industrial-sized load cells for large-scale scales. This allows it to perform tests under the most extreme temperature conditions from -30ºC to +180ºC, ensuring that the sample withstands and measures correctly.
