CETM-50/1450T, TEMPERATURE TEST CHAMBER

FOR TESTING PLASTIC PARTS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.

Nowadays, plastic parts make up a large part of the things that surround us: automobiles, computers, etc. There are many types of plastics, but one difference between them is the degradation time to which they are subjected from the moment they are manufactured. Temperature is one of the factors that affect this degradation. All chemical reactions accelerate with increasing temperature, and plastics are no exception, so that increasing the temperature of plastic parts increases their degradation. For this reason, plastic parts must pass strict quality controls.

The CETM-50/1450T has been configured to perform positive and negative temperature tests on plastic products and their mechanical supports, which makes a total load of 80 kg without heat dissipation. And its thermal gradient has been calculated taking into account this mass and an average value of 6ºC/min for cooling and heating between +150ºC and -40ºC. The interior volume of the chamber was adapted to the dimensions of these supports.
