QVT-SV Differential Pressure Transmitter: Extremely Accurate Differential Pressure Measurement For Low Flow Applications

The QVT-SV Differential Pressure Transmitter from Eastern Instruments is a Single Variable DP Transmitter that can be used to measure the Differential Pressure or Velocity Pressure within nearly any duct near atmospheric pressure.

The QVT-SV Differential Pressure Transmitter from Eastern Instruments is a Single Variable DP Transmitter that can be used to measure the Differential Pressure or Velocity Pressure within nearly any duct near atmospheric pressure. The QVT-SV Differential Pressure Transmitter can be coupled with any DP based flow element such as averaging pitots, orifice plates, etc to deliver an exceptionally accurate DP signal or an uncompensated mass flow signal. The QVT-SV will work for any application in which air and/or gas is travelling through duct work at or near atmospheric pressure (5 - 25 psia).

The QVT-SV is particularly well suited for maintaining a high level of accuracy at very low DP ranges. The 4-20 mA output signal, which can be selected as either a Differential Pressure output or an uncompensated mass flow output, can be ranged from 8 in WC down to 0.1 in WC. Its high accuracy, especially at very low DP ranges, is due in part to its unique process seal which eliminates the need for diaphragm seals that can often lead to inaccuracies in a transmitter's sensor readings due to their potential for the accumulation of condensate on and around the diaphragm. With flow measurement accuracies as high as +/-0.50% of Reading, and with an operating range from 10 in WC down to .001 in WC, the QVT-SV is the first choice in accurate, low flow DP measurement.
