CarboProbe life cycle analysis

This is an environmental evaluation which quantifies the impact of a product throughout its lifecycle, from the extraction of the raw materials of which it is composed to its disposal at the end of its life. The key issue is to identify the main sources of environmental impacts and limit them as far as possible.

In order to warrant our "100% recyclable" label, we have committed to the following approach:

- Using materials that are 99%-recyclable

- Using local production to limit our CO2 footprint as much as possible (by limiting transport)

- Reducing energy as far as possible during the assembly and testing phases

- Applying strict recycling procedures for all production processes as well as support processes (administration, sales, etc.)

Over the entire life cycle of our CarboProbe products, producing component parts from raw materials is the phase which has the greatest impact on the environment. These are the costs of extracting ore and costs connected with the conversion of the raw material into products that can be used to construct our probes (metals, plastics, etc.).

All Econox products carrying the 100% recyclable label can be returned to us for complete recycling, and the various channels for disposing of the probe components can be found on our website www.econox.ch or www.econox.us.

After recycling, a certificate can be issued to you which certifies that the product has been completely recycled.
