Connectors have to fulfill all hygiene requirements

Eisele focuses on hygiene-compliant design for its stainless steel connectors

Eisele is company member of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG). This association of experts from machine and component manufacturing companies, specialists from the food industry as well as research institutes and health authorities is engaged in the hygienic design and construction of machinery and processes for the food industry.

The organisation was established in 1989 to increase awareness in industrial enterprises for hygiene in the processing and packaging of foods. The main goal of the EHEDG is to contribute to hygiene-compliant construction and design in all areas of food production and therefore to ensure the safe manufacture of foods. The association also supports European legislature and its requirement for hygienic handling, processing and packaging of foods by means of hygiene-compliant machines and in a hygienic environment. As EHEDG Company Member Eisele will continue to expand its hygiene- and cleaning-compliant connection technology. „Membership in the hygiene network of the EHEDG is essential for the exchange of information among industry experts. Hygienic handling, processing and packaging of food by the means of hygienic machinery and in an hygienic environment is most important, especially for the meat processing industry“, explains Eisele-CEO Thomas Maier his hygiene strategy for the German company based in Waiblingen close to Stuttgart.
