Although the majority of DC motors remain brushed, in the future these will be surpassed by Brushless DC Motors, especially for applications where variable speed control is essential. Brushless DC motors also hold many advantages over AC motors:

-Lower volume and lower weight per output unit

-Higher starting torque

-Better speed control

-Designed at any speed

-Easier to reverse

EMP began production of DC motors in 1989 & added Brushless systems in 2002, and we’ve expanded the range to now have nine different stator sizes available to power your needs accordingly.

Our motors are CUSTOM MADE based on your requirements, so we are with you from concept/design through to producing your final system, and pride ourselves on our service standards. We utilise quality components and ensure the best possible efficiency from our motors.

This means we can provide suitable motors anywhere within a power range from 100w to 10,000w across the range of these motors, and even up to 50kW for special projects.

Available in 12v to 300v DC (up to 415v AC) and with variable speeds to 4000rpm there is a product to suit all applications.
