HYGIENIC DESIGN: The new Elesa components line to guarantee companies hygiene and maximum machineries cleanability.

In specific industrial sectors such as pharmaceutical, chemical and food, companies are subjected to high and accurate standards of product security.

The components from the New line Hygienic Design are designed to offer hygiene, highest cleanability and quality of the materials without compromises, perfect for the installation along the production lines of sectors subjected to strict hygiene rules.

The new Hygienic Design line includes knobs, lobe knobs, bridge handles and levelling feet designed and realized according to the EHEDG guide lines and 3-A Sanitary Standards.

Studied in geometry, in material choice and in surface finishes, Hygienic line components offer numerous advantages. The resistance to corrosion, to high temperatures and to chemical substances is guaranteed by the materials, like INOX stainless steel, and by the seals, in polyurethane elastomer in blue colour, aligned with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulation. These last in particular prevent the entrance and nesting of dirt and foreign bodies in the joints between the components.

Quality of finishes combined with shapes without imperfections or recesses and rugosity, less than 0,8 µm, makes the components of this line unassailable from dirt or other substances, maximizing the cleanability degree. The use of the components of the new HD line allows moreover a reduction of the timing of the complete cleaning cycles on machineries (that some times can request at least the 25% of the production time) with concrete advantages for the customer:

• More time dedicated to production;

• Less use of fresh water and so less waste of water and energy;

• Reduction of total costs and resources saving.
