ELOKON combines fleet management and driver assistance system on a smartphone in a single solution

ELOKON is presenting numerous product innovations around fleet management and assistance systems for forklifts at Préventica. For the first time, the two proven systems ELOfleet and ELOshield can be operated on one and the same standard smartphone via a specially developed Android app. "In 2021, the share of smartphone users in the German population was around 88.8 percent. What could be more natural then than to offer our products to our customers also by means of an intuitive smartphone app", explains Alexander Glasmacher, Managing Director of ELOKON GmbH.

With this step, ELOKON facilitates the use of both systems, combines their functions and enables new applications. In addition, the application makes it possible to control both products on smartphones or tablets already installed on the machines of the customers.

With ELOfleet Sprint and ELOshield Sprint, ELOKON further expands its product range with basic products at entry-level prices. In addition, ELOKON will introduce its new cloud-based product ELOdms. With ELOdms, companies - from medium-sized companies to global groups - can manage their entire inventory in one software solution. All information, such as master data, invoices or instructions, can be viewed centrally at any time.

"What was originally an extension of the scope of functions of our cloud-based fleet management system ELOfleet very quickly turned into a stand-alone ELOKON software solution due to numerous requests from our customers", explains Glasmacher. ELOdms makes it possible to centrally manage not only forklifts, but also batteries, chargers, AGVs and mobile robots, so that companies can also realize their digitalization potential in this area which is so important for intralogistics.
