EmCom Joins SILVAIR Ecosystem and Is Releasing Bluetooth Mesh DALI-2 Sensor

We EmCom Technology are extremely excited to join the SILVAIR ecosystem and integrating their firmware into our sensors. We are looking forward to the opportunities the partnership will bring for both companies. EmCom Technology Inc., as a DiiA member and leading manufacturer of lighting control products in Taiwan, has already launched its first DALI-2 sensor range which is consisting of occupancy (PIR) sensor and light (LUX) sensor, and is implementing Parts 303 and 304 of DALI-2 certification (IEC62386 V2). The collaboration with SILVAIR will enable the deployment of our DALI-2 certified sensors with their qualified Bluetooth mesh intelligent lighting control networks.

On May 27th, 2020 the Bluetooth SIG and the DiiA have announced a collaboration to accelerate IoT-enabled commercial lighting. DALI-2, from the DiiA, provides an ecosystem of certified lighting devices including intelligent D4i luminaires. Bluetooth mesh, from the Bluetooth SIG, is a leading IoT standard for intelligent wireless lighting control networks. Through this collaboration, leading lighting industry companies from both organizations are now bringing these two standards together by specifying a standard Bluetooth mesh interface for certified DALI-2 and D4i devices, enabling connectivity with qualified Bluetooth mesh lighting control networks.
