The special geometry of Circle Segment End Mills offers improved surface quality by simultaneous reduction of machining time. They focus on prefinishing and finishing operations on five-axis machining centres.

The specific technical features of these end mills are the large radii in the cutting area of the tools. Their geometry represents a part of a circle, a circle segment. The large radius simulates a ball-nose end mill with a cutting diameter of 12 to 3.000 mm. As a result, the axial depth of cut can be enlarged and simultaneous the surface quality will be improved.
