Small Solar Linear Actuator (SOLA)
Enzfelder GmbH
The small series of Solar Linear Actuator is specifically designed for the use
in a Solartracker up to 4 tons. It is suitable for using outdoor, becaus of the
stainless steel surface and the complet sealed version.
Operation:
An dc electric motor drives via a gear a spindle.
A stainless steel piston rod runs the linear move.
To avoid a mechanical collision at the end positions of the actuator,
there are installed end limit switches which restrict the needed stroke.
For the controllsystem of the limitswitch and motor,
a installed bus microcontroller inside of the actuator is also suitable.
To compensate the inaccuracy of the foundation and the steel structure,
the actuator can be attached between two joint heads.
It is also suitable with swiveling bolts at the end,
base or top plate of the cylinder.
The Stroke up to one meter fulfill the needed linear motion to adjust the solar
panels.
The housing cover serves as a support, guide, turn lock device and cover the
piston rod.
