Real case: Multilevel storage in Poland for Antolin
How a 3-level storage solution transformed internal logistics at an automotive plant in Silesia
Intralogistics in an automotive production plant is a constant challenge. Ensuring that parts arrive on time at each workstation without overcrowding the available space requires solutions that balance storage capacity, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
In a recent installation in Silesia (Poland), Antolin, a major Tier 1 supplier in the industry, needed to optimize the movement and storage of door panels. The implemented solution was a multilevel storage system (3 levels), designed to connect the injection area with the assembly line, passing through a temporary storage zone.
With a combination of bidirectional shopstocks, automatic elevators, and elevated platforms, a continuous flow of parts was achieved without interruptions, maximizing available space and streamlining internal logistics.
