High Efficiency

Power efficiency is maximized in the power topology design. It reached 80~85% efficiency with -48VDC input, 50% load. This design saves more energy than a general network or telecom redundant power.

PMBus enabled

EFRD-S2257HPM boasts a digital design with PMBus monitoring at output, temperature, and power status. PMBus is responsible for communication between power supply and system bus. System can interact with power supply via PMBus and do preventive action based on the monitored result.

Hot plug and 1+1 Redundancy

The power supply consists of 2x250W power modules and support hot plugging during operation. Both modules are normally working together. If one module fails, another module will take over all system loads.
