RFI 1800 cooler in Hydrogen station

Leaving our factory: a beautiful RFI 1800 + RFI 700 set for ATAWEY.

Finalization and shipment of a (very beautiful) cold assembly for ATAWEY, specialist in Hydrogen stations, and long-time EURODIFROID customer.

Our teams worked with heart to design, assemble and control this RFI 1800, dedicated to utility and compression functions, which includes:
- 2 separate cooling circuits, capable of delivering a total power of 144 kW (at 5°C water evaporator / 32°C ambient air);
- a “floating HP” module (adaptation of speeds and opening of the refrigerator circuit, depending on the temperature difference) to reduce energy consumption;
- a 400 liter stainless steel tank with an internal circulation pump;
- all controlled by a control automaton with complete ModBus TCP/IP communication, integrating ventilation setpoint management, all regulation and safety.

This superb cooler is also delivered with an RFI 700 with a cooling capacity of 6kW (at -40°C fluid outlet / 5°C condensing network), with a double-stage compressor with frequency variator and a dedicated electronic regulation-expansion valve assembly. This device being assigned more directly to the distribution function.

Or we could just say that we use the best of our cold expertise to be able to respond to the precise and demanding demands of the Hydrogen* sector!

After initial tests on the Chambéry site with our technical teams, we are heading to Sardinia in the coming weeks, for commissioning on the final operating site.
