RFI 2x300 water coller, in cosmectics / luxury industry
Our technical teams are here working on an RFI 2x300 water cooler.
Commissioned by BOCCARD SA, this device is being installed in a perfume manufacturing facility at a major French luxury manufacturer.
This is a very high value-added application area, where industrial process quality is both a strategic differentiating asset and a key issue to look after.
Why "2X300"?
Because the end customer's requirement is to maximize the security of their industrial process by opting for complete cooling system redundancy.
This RFI therefore includes:
- Two refrigeration circuits, each 15 kW (for -10°C outlet / 32°C ambient air);
- Each operating on R449A gas, with a scroll compressor and a MOP thermostatic expansion valve (pressure limiter);
- One 150 L insulated stainless steel tank, again with a dual-circuit system (two centrifugal pumps with stainless steel bodies, flow meters on each outlet, pressure transducers, etc.);
- The system is controlled by a Free Advance PLC with a TCP/IP connection and a series of sensors and contactors to manage safety features on each circuit.
Why an intervention?
Because the initially planned air extraction (via ducting) could not be implemented. Our technicians are therefore working on site to optimize air recycling and thus restore our unit's full cooling potential.
