The R513A refrigerant still has a bright future!

Compliant with F-Gas regulations, R513A units enable us to offer a solution tailored to safety requirements at the operating site.

The F-Gas regulation requires manufacturers and operators of industrial refrigeration equipment to gradually transition to less polluting refrigerants (such as low-GWP HFO fluids).
We already offer a wide range of industrial air conditioners and chillers that use these low-GWP fluids—often incorporating new features that significantly reduce operating costs.
However, in situations where the flammability of these gases could pose a risk (such as proximity to an electrical cabinet), the F-Gas regulation allows us—provided the operator submits a supporting justification—to continue offering more "conventional" solutions that present a lower risk to the installation.
This is the case with R513A, a refrigerant we have long used in our enclosure air conditioners, water and oil chillers, gas dryers, and more.
To meet these specific needs, we are transitioning new products to R513A (such as the CLX, RFC, and TRA series) while simultaneously offering HFO-based equivalents (using R1234ze, R1234yf, etc.).
At EURODIFROID, our teams are guided daily by the customer's needs—including their specific requirements, expectations, and constraints.
