The CDU is the core hub of liquid cooling, connecting outdoor cold sources with server loops through a fully isolated dual-loop architecture. The primary loop circulates water or water-glycol through cooling towers and dry coolers, while the secondary loop delivers insulating, anti-corrosion coolant to servers. Plate heat exchangers achieve 95% transfer efficiency, cooling secondary coolant from 28-35℃ back to 18-25℃. Redundant variable-frequency pumps, filters and intelligent sensors hold temperature fluctuation within ±1℃, preventing condensation. For 50-100kW racks, the CDU cuts cooling energy by over 40%.
