GREE Launches New Energy-Saving Inverter Hot Gas Defrost Refrigeration Unit

Power Down 50%, Defrost Down 86.7%: GREE's Factory-Integrated Inverter Unit Redefines Cold Storage

GREE has launched a new energy-saving inverter hot gas defrost refrigeration unit covering -25℃ to 25℃. Backed by 150 million RMB in labs since 2009, the factory-integrated unit combines AI inverter optimization, intelligent hot gas defrost and frequency conversion control—cutting power consumption over 50%, defrost power 86.7% and invalid defrost cycles 80-90%. Two-stage inverter compressors improve low-temperature efficiency by 8-33%. GREE's 39 benchmark projects achieved 35-50% energy savings. EXTRCOOL provides variable-frequency cold room systems across South America, Central Africa, Northern Europe, South Asia and the Middle East.
