The secondary cooling loop—CDUs, distribution pipelines and liquid cooling cabinets with cold plates, quick disconnects and manifolds—dissipates heat for CPUs, GPUs, memory and power supplies. Copper or aluminum cold plates are judged by pressure drop and thermal resistance; two-phase designs are the future upgrade direction. 316L stainless steel manifolds split coolant from CDUs to each cold plate, while quick disconnects—manual and blind-mate—enable drip-free plugging. EPDM/FEP/PTFE hoses, stainless pipes, leak detection ropes and 25% glycol coolant complete the loop.
