AI training racks have passed 50kW and some near 100kW, where the physical limit of air cooling is fixed, and air-cooled systems consume 30% to 50% of IT power, every kilowatt-hour of computing costs an extra 0.3 to 0.5 kilowatt-hours of cooling.
