The Liquid Cooling Manifold, the Rack's Hidden Traffic Hub

One Underfed Branch Throttles the Whole Cabinet: Why 16 Branches Within ±5% Flow Deviation Decides Whether 100kW Racks Deliver

The manifold is the rack's hidden traffic hub, one end connected to the CDU and the other splitting into a dozen or two dozen branches to every server cold plate, and once single-rack power passes 100 kilowatts a single underfed branch makes that server overheat and throttle first, dragging the whole cabinet to the weakest plate. The hard metric is per-branch flow deviation, mature designs holding 16 branches within plus or minus 5 percent, and vacuum brazing with helium leak detection guards the weld points. Material follows the coolant, 304 or 316L stainless for water-based fluids. EXTRCOOL provides one-stop liquid cooling solutions.
