What is dew point?
Dew point is a physical quantity that describes humidity. It is the temperature to which the air must be cooled in order to become saturated. Usually used in dry conditions.
Dew point sensors are used in compressed dry air systems to monitor air dryness for following reasons.
1. Avoid condensing: Excessive water content leads to condensation, and causes damage to pneumatic parts.
2. Dry air is widely used in electronics manufacturing process: Electronic components are very sensitive to environment humidity condition.
