Case 1: Sealing Machine in Clean Room

In the sealing process, it is necessary to suck out the dust produced by this process at the same time. The customer originally planned to install a pressure switch on the exhaust duct to monitor suction function, but since the suction air flow is only 2m/s, the differential pressure product was not suitable for such low air flow. Therefore, we recommended the FTE120 air flow transmitter. This product is compact size and can measure low air flow, which is especially suitable for small equipment. If there is additional requirement of display, it can be used with the DPM11 signal display monitor. The DPM11 signal display monitor also has a relay signal function, which can be used as an alarm or in conjunction with other equipment.

Case 2: Monitoring Plastic Granule Drying Process

Plastic granules are the main material of plastic products, and the dryness of plastic granules is a key factor in plastic injection molding process. Before injection molding, moisture content of plastic granules needs to be reduced to below 0.02%, and the industry often uses dry air to blow over plastic granules to achieve dehumidification. To achieve a moisture content of less than 0.02%, in practice, this process must be performed with dry air that has dew point temperature lower than -40°C. Therefore, we recommend installing the THS88MAX dew point transmitter in the process to monitor. This product is suitable for industrial drying processes, and the dew point working range can reach down to -60 dp°C.
